1- custom recovery like cwm, twrp

3- Download philz_touch recovery flashble zip frm here

How to ROOT:
First download philz_touch.zip and then place it in sd card. Now you already have custom recovery to flash philz touch so boot into recovery then flash philz_touch recovery. Now power off and again boot into recovery. Now you will see philz recovery use keys to navigate to advance option and click re-root and reboot system,
Now download supersu from play store and again go to recovery. 
This time flash supersu 2.46.zip (mentioned in things u need) and finally reboot system and your device is ROOTED now.
